At least one member of your team must hold a current Work Cover accredited senior first aid certificate equivalent to the St John Senior level. Activities should also have at least one person with a first aid certificate. First Aid Courses are often run in each region, you need to book in at least three weeks beforehand and you can attend a course outside your region. Contact your Region Office for details on courses they offer. Well the past few months have been extremely hectic, yet we have all had some great time, first there was Christmas and then New Year and finally the Jamboree at which there were over 300 Venturers working day and night to ensure that the 10000 Scouts had a great time.
During this time though we had to say goodbye to our previous hosting company who have been extremely generous to Dragon Skin over the past 3 years, but due to a change in business direction they were unable to host our website any more. We have now moved the site to our new host, HighTek Hosting, who hosted the Australian Jamboree website and are currently hosting the Australian Moot and Venture sites.
We apologise for the slightlly extended time that the Dragon Skin website was down but now that it is back have a good look around as there is new information about Dragon Skin 2010 as well as new information about what to take to Skin, menus, Back Packs and other equipment.
Also, the question that you have all been asking is about to be answered: Applications will open 1st February 2010, until then reaquaint yourself with the site and find out all about this year's SKIN!

Do you know how Dragon Skin began? Why it is called Dragon Skin? Did you know that he event was evacuated in 1988? Do you know how your Unit has placed in the last 25 years? The History of Dragon Skin, is a self guided Power Point presentation for PC's (doesn't work on Apple). It describes how Dragon Skin began,where each Skin was, themes, who did what and who won. There are also the complete results for every Dragon Skin, as well as news reports, recollections, photos and other documents all about Dragon Skin. So if you want to know more about the great event that is Dragon Skin, then this is for you! Cost is $10 plus $2 postage = $12 for a copy.
